Give Me Time
Give me time give me space I need to vascillate
Sit in it spit on it make it cheap and fake
If loving you means losing me I won't hesitate
Guess you missed the memo my heart isn't yours to break.
A cat and mouse dance ritual much less than I deserve
With promises unspoken yet devaluing your word
Pretenses of abandonment, only you they serve
Throwaway lines in the sand becoming faint and blurred
