Giving Up Poem by Lyn Paul

Giving Up

Rating: 5.0

Am I getting closer
To piecing this puzzle
It was just getting harder
Harder and Harder
I felt pieces were lost
They just wouldnot fit
Giving up
But with alot of careful thinking
A little adjusting
Stepping away
Walking........
Breathing the air
Watching the waves
Covering the footprints
Then the flight of the pelicans
Creating their own puzzle
I knew then
My puzzle
Would be completed
I had come this far
So why give up on the puzzle
It is hard
Yes
But, Yes!
I will solve it

I believe that this poem is beautiful! Meaning it inspired me and it made me see things clearer. Comparing giving up to a puzzle, the fact that you basically put preserver and never give up in a form of poetry is great and you did a great job! !
