Glittered Dark Poem by Jessica Oluah

Glittered Dark

Just within the caves
As life carthasis halves
I lived and enjoyed perfectly well
The dark and deep room within the well

As the moon began to rise towards the east
The sturdy saprophytes finished the fermented yest
In deep hybernation i crawled out
Guilty of crime that wil sprout out

I played the role right
Together with the moon's dim light
In melancholy i dwelt
In delusion i built
The sky-scrapers without root

And in great bewilderment
I stood where the roads met
Wisdom abound, yet no clue
Salvation cake, to it i glued

It polished without remains
And as to it i succumbed, i lost the chains

Indeed it lighted the other parts of me
Wiped out the tears of the bad sides of me
It believed and brought out the best of me
And brought in peace, love, and joy in me

Now i bring you good tidings
That surpasseth the bast riding
In him abiding
He will make you his true hiding
