Sheet of a day light scrolling down
Across blunt edge of the horizon
Making a V cut in the sky curious birds
Fly to the west to get a last look of the sun

Sheet of dusts hangs over the street
As children rush homes to wash
To quench fatigue of a hard day cattle
Run down into the water with a splash

Sheet of a silence gets unrolled across
The dale where a cowherd finishes his song
Grandpa remembers tales of witches and
Ghosts as on his face shadows strike long

Sheet of a veil pulled over the face as
The bride lights evening lamp at the door
A smile plays in her tender lips hearing
His voice and she resumes her chore

Sheet of darkness gets unfurled spreading
Its ambiance as a new night is born
Giving a play ground to heavenly bodies
Till dawn breaks across eastern horizon
