Global Warming Poem by Govind Ramakrishnan

Global Warming

Ever tuned-in
To a conch?

Sounds
therein
Contain
the vast ocean
And beyond

A gentle mantra
Reverberating,
Like the primal sound
Of the cosmos

Seaweeds
Whistling
off sharks,
Waves cracking
against rocks
And shoal of fish
Holding a conference
On a topic
Dear
To their hearts:

GLOBAL WARMING!
