Global Warming Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Global Warming

The fire that burns, is burning bright,
within the forests of the night
So brightly tongues of flame do flare, to
lighten darkness, devour the air
The heat grows tense, must move not near,
in darkness eyes do shine with fear
It eats and eats, it ne'er gets full
In strenght it grows, this be the rule
It spreads and spreads, cannot retreat,
must fight it back, perimeter meet
For if we do not face this fight
We shall not sleep, in forest of night
