It's not fair it’s not right
Things I do seem not right
They just see things are wrong
Makes me sing a sad song

Then I see falling leaves
Then I sense hurting glares
I just feel cold rain drops
Feeling bad never stops

I don’t like working good
I just have dampen moods
Guitar strums are so sad
Each played tune sounds so bad

I just see gloomy days
I ignore happy ways
Moon goddess in the sky
Nowadays seems so shy

If they think I’m not good
My warm days are now cold
Feeling low not fired-up
Falling tears I can’t stop

    Glue Me
    Inspired by other peoples' gloom
    faded flame of Orange-Blue,
the last candle in the room
    I bloom
    Like Sunflowers in the Moon
When the Dead refuse the tomb
Le Plume consume my every move
    Needles on my every groove
When there's nothing left to prove
Gloom is nothing but a Mood.
I am the creator of it,
I'm the Gloom that Angels covet
    Agony inside the stomach
May they hate the way I love it
    Understand thy way Above it
Like the Hand that rocks the puppet
    Even Gloom can be Inspiring.

Has the seed fallen from the flower's bud.
The petals to the air are gone
At your feet dust and peat
    It just the new beginning
do not weep, do not weep (Report) Reply

    Dear Naida

What a great poetic line, from your
'Gloomy' poem, life is not a bed or roses I am told, you captured life's struggles amazingly in your poem
I enjoyed the economy in your lines, they drive the point without going overboard, less is more my new found cup of tea! (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
