Gluttony Poem by Leah Jeanne

Gluttony

I'm a glutton for punishment
Make it hurt
Make me cry and I'll lay at your feet
Make me hurt from the inside out
Let it fester and burn
Hurt me deep where no one can see
Make me yearn for your torture
Make me beg and plead
I like it best when it hurts
But make it hurt down deep
Beneath the surface
Make me cry and win my heart
Please do it again
Make me cry
Make me whimper
Smile while my tears fall
Crush this heart
I love your punishments
I want to love you
Make me cry again and I'll lay at your feet
Let me love you
I'm a glutton for this punishment.

Gluttonous for heartache - still a sin or no?
