Treasure Island

Go, be brave

Go, be brave, step into a ring of fire
No excuses – it is your desire
It is the only choice to exist
Despite what people tell you,
The people don’t want to assist

Go, be brave, kill the beast
Free my people, free yourself at the least
He, who doesn't risk, never gets to drink champagne
Although, the people lack courage
These people will call you an insane

Go, be brave, take the plunge
Show your true colors,
Unleash the damn avalanche
When shit hits the fan, in a big stinking wave
The nature will punish cowards and reward the braves

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.
