Go To Sleep My Sweet Child Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Go To Sleep My Sweet Child

Rating: 5.0

Go to sleep my sweet child
You've been lost
In the wild
Your eyes
Swollen
With tears
Now lessened
Your ears
So muffled
With sounds
Now deadened
Your mouth
Now stitched
With screams
Silenced
Your nose
Broken
Reawakened
To sweet smell
Your body
Ensconced
From the depths
Of such hell

A heart touching poem. A horrifying experience of child abuse expertly narrated. Thanks for sharing Richard and do remain blessed.
