We didn’t try
Things just fell into place
Loving you was never hard
It was actually the walking away
You gave me your friendship
But I preferred your heart
You offered me your love
When you always had mine from the start
You gave me your word
And have yet to against it
And you’re the perfect person to be in a relationship with
And I don’t want another girl to ever benefit
From all your good qualities
I want to be all you’ll ever need
Cause you give me all I ever will
And I’ll love you always
Jus like I love you still
Even after all that’s happened
Because at the end of the day
You always keep me laughin
Always shift my mind
Of all that stresses me
To something more divine
You always made sure that I knew
That even after all we were going through
That you still cared
And you have to see that I love you
Cause after all you put me through
I’M STILL HERE
