Goats Poem by Amanda Lobsiger

Goats

My goats are my life
They have been out in my barn since the day I was born
Except the month we kept them at the neighbors
When our barn burnt to the ground
They have taught me responsibility
And have gotten me some money for college
They even bought my first car
I love them dearly always have and always will
When my brother was nowhere to be found he was in his room
I, on the other hand, was usually in the barn.
They are the reason I love to wear my boots
And why my style of clothes will never make a fashion statement
I know the ins and outs of goats
And the people that I've shown them with are like family to me
