God Is Moving

Years have passed
Since we affirmed.
God Is Watching.

Now in the present
We are confirming.
God Is Moving.

Looking into the future
We become concerned.
God Is Present.

In our every yesteryear
In our every today
And in our every tomorrow.

God Is Watching
God Is Moving
God Is Present.

    Dear Cecilia,
I liked your poem. You got me thinking.

    God is ever with us,
    as close as our breath,
    always waiting for us
    to bask in His presence,
    ever ready to instruct,
    console, heal, and affirm us.
    His goodness, mercy, and love
    for us is beyond measure.
God is the source and origin
of all things, the great creator,
    and redeemer of our lives.
It is time for us to reflect His nature,
    His attributes, since
    from the very beginning
He made us in His image.
Even after we turned to our own devices,
He himself shed His own blood
to redeem our lives from the pit.
    We have turned away enough.
It is time for us to act as though
we are a spark of the divine,
    children who realize that
in Him we live and breathe
and have our being. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
