God The Mother Poem by Angelo Macaroni

God The Mother

Rating: 3.5

than god the father
i would rather
a female other
god the mother

she would not flood
the land with tears
or think that good
that ends in tears

she would but kiss
and pat my head
and give me bliss
when I am dead

she would be mild
to me her child
and never boss
me to a cross

and she would still
when i do ill
forgive forget
when i regret

I like the version of god as a mother, better than the wrathful father.
