God Told Me Today
God told me today
Neither to work too hard or play
But I never listened
And so got in trouble always.
I thought it was grand to work and work
But all I became was a workaholic
And so I thought I should play and play
And I became poor.
God told me today
Neither to work too hard or play.
Now I listen to him
Day after day.
God told me today.
