God Was With You, Yes, All The Time Poem by Dr John Celes

God was with you, yes, all along;
But you didn’t know that He was there;
You did all things, not on your own;
God blessed your work and things you did!

God was by you but you didn’t know,
In thick and thin of life and strife;
Your earthly eyes could not see Him;
But He was watching you and cares!

God was beside you, all the time;
He walked with you and talked with you;
But you didn’t know, it was just Him;
He loves His creatures, man, woman!

God called on you when you were sick,
In times of need and life’s chaos;
You could not recognise the Lord;
Yet, He was meeting all your wants.

God was near you, though you were far;
He heard your cries and saw your tears;
His heart was pained by what men do;
But He forgives all sinners still.

God was with you, yes, all the time;
He laughed when you had almost died;
He is life’s Maker and Taker!
How come you forgot this great truth?

God is with you; are you with Him?
That is the question, we must ask;
If you’re with Him, then He’s with you:
Best Friend on whom you can rely!
