Goddess~ Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Goddess~

Rating: 5.0

She comes to you in the ether-
With a come hither look light as the breeze
Awakening you from blessed slumber
She, the Goddess, brings you to your knees;
Oh so helpless you cry..
Your tears as rain drops fall
In utter worship you sing her praises
Utterly taken in by her siren call;
She comes to you as but a gentle whisper
Upon the nights darkened wings
Is she, indeed, a real Goddess?
Or the result of what sweet destiny brings?
'Hark, my beloved, my lady'
'Comest thou from ethers afar'
To dream of you again in sweet slumber
'Tis my ardent hope, my Venus, my star;
