Gods Plan

Life takes us on a Journey
We may not want to go
Unexpected adventures
Detrimental outcomes

We may think we hold our destiny
In our own hands
But life has a way of twisting things
Changing all our plans

For some we see the outcome
Is different from the rest
Some simply do not have a chance
God seems to take the best

When life seems to turn on you
I hope Gods comfort you seek
Our plans were made ahead of time
Never ours to keep

We may want to question
Our Father up above
When tragedy strikes in our lives
And takes the ones we love

But who are we to question
The plans our Father makes
For he himself gave his own son
His sacrifice was great

For God so loved the world
He gave his only son
So that you and I may dwell
Forever in his Kingdom
