Going Away Poem by tonya truitt

Going Away

I'm sorry my love I must go. I'll see you soon. Don't cry. I know. This will be hard but it will be for the best. One last kiss for you dear, keep it forever in your chest. One last tear I'll shed with you. You're strong you'll pass this test. Forever I'll love you, will be my last words. The next thing I'll do is fly with the birds. I'll hold you close near my dying body. Being with you was my favorite hobby. Let's always remember the time we spent and not consider my dying a dent. Again I whisper, Together we'll be forever on. The next we both know and the time spent is gone, and I am sleeping for always on.
