Going For Gold Poem by Angela Wybrow

Going For Gold

Dreams of winning;
Wheels a-spinning;
Ambition burning;
Pedals a-turning;
Forward facing;
Heartbeat racing;
Senses waking;
Muscles aching;
Picking up pace;
Loving the race;
Rhythm flowing;
Got to keep going;
Right on track;
Never look back;
Showing such skill;
Feeling such thrill;
Taking the lead;
Born to succeed;
Feeling the heat;
Crowd on their feet;
Doing just fine;
Crossing the line;
A medal you hold,
And that is the GOLD!
