Going In Blind Poem by Cody Osterberg

Going In Blind

Every other time,
I let lose my mind.
I'm in my prime,
But soon I will find,
That I'm out of time.
I'm going in blind.

I watch my life slide,
I can't change the tide.
Down to the grind,
I'll take this ride,
To the other side.
I'm going in blind.

Here I reside,
I worked hard for this life.
I'm glad I just tried.
Thank god I realized,
I'm better off,
Going in blind.
