Gold Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Gold

Gold

I found gold in your streaming tears,
That gold glint that shone.
I saw the gold in your good deeds,
That is rarely found.

I saw gold in the streams,
In my golden dreams,
And splashes,
In your golden hair.

But the most precious gold,
I found,
Was in your smiling stare.
