Twisted Rose

Rookie (1996/01/22 / Ontario)

Gone

A gun pointed at me, barrel first
My last moments whirling around
A cold click and a shot coming forward
My blood, splattered on the ground

My life is going by and by
Things I wanted to see and do
My family and friends, and saying goodbye
I feel the gunshot going through

I wish I could say good bye to you all
Don’t wanted to leave you like this
Wanted to say goodbye
Wanted one last kiss

Cold feeling through my skin
Precious time going fast
This is not a good place to be
All this from one short blast

O Love! thou makest all things even
In earth or heaven;
Finding thy way through prison-bars
Up to the stars;
Or, true to the Almighty plan,
That out of dust created man,
