Gone Poem by Nameless Dreamer

Gone

Here she stands
Just a body
But within

Nothing

She stays here
Shaking
Scared

Her lips tremble
Her lips part
She calls out in a weak voice

'I don't want to hurt anymore! '

The call goes unheard
The world spins around her
Her mind races
Her body tries to follow

She stands still
In the flesh

But her mind distant
Her soul absent
Her heart gone
Her eyes vacant
Witnessing thing much more horrific than here

She reaches out
But has nothing to hold

She slips

She falls

Deeper and deeper

Nobody will miss her

Better this way

Better in the flames

Gone
