She always knew that one day it would end.
That you would stop loving her
But still she stayed.
Put her dreams on hold
To be with you
But she did not tell you that
You never knew
Guess it wasn’t your fault
But then again
Did you ever ask
What her dreams were
Or did you just tell her about yours
Those that changed every day
Still she listened
Obediently
She was scared you’d do it again
And you did
You know you did
Deny all want
You left her long before the break up
I feel sorry for her
She did not know how to talk to you
Maybe that’s why you didn’t listen
