Treasure Island

Peter S. Quinn

Good Evening

Good evening
Sunshine musical
Your heart is to sing
A song for us all
In pleasuring way
So dreams come true
And color the gray
That came here thru

Good starry night
With a song to fill
In a glowing sight
Of a musical thrill
When days are in sleep
In the hours dark
Your songs will keep
Their moments spark

Good playing song
For a mood of the dim
For a heart to long
In its whimsy whim
When hours are calling
In their dreams feel
As the stars are falling
And nothing seems real

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
