Good For Each Other Poem by Harley White

Good For Each Other

Rating: 5.0

[Song lyric, a waltz, from 'Beauty and the Beast']

Good for each other—
We're good for each other,
Like a mother's caring,
And a brother's sharing.

We fit together,
Like sunny and weather,
Like pods and peas,
You're so easy to please.

I don't have to try to be clever or smart.
I know I can go… wherever my heart may lead…
if I need to—

Good for each other—
We're good for each other.
Our friendship's unbinding and free.
There's no compromising—
And what's so surprising…
Is that I seem to be as good for you
As you are good for me.
