Good Gracious Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Good Gracious

Good gracious, what are you doing?
What in life will you do?
With devils, billing and cooing
All the while fooling you

Masters of wickedness trading
As true angels of Light
Cunningly masquerading
Deceiving plain in sight

Though salvation's always near
Willing souls to protect
Casual, devils appear
Heaven's Way to defect

Think not that you are above this
Thinking you know far more
Life's elite, can suffer remiss
When Satan knocks their door

Beware! let wisdom guide you
Let biblical knowledge reign
Keep Heaven's path constant in view
Let devils earn no gain

Life can be as a carousel
Seen as a game of chance
The wise choose Heaven, fools choose hell
With whom do you! romance

Think it over, ponder awhile
What is your hearts' desire
Let Jesus reshape your lifestyle
Or burn endless in fire

As for me, with Jesus as King
The risen Christ, God's Son
Forever more, Life's Song I'll sing
With those Life's crown have won.....
