Good Morning Poem by Leslie Alexis

Good Morning

Rating: 4.5

I wait for the morning like none I ever had,
When I wake to television without ads:
No selling, no stealing, nothing to pay.
I wait for a time when money does not make the day.

When scamming and those who scam bid adieu.
When men give merrily and want nothing from you.
When lions and leopards are pets and not rugs.
When drug dealers go broke- there's no value in drugs.
When men eat the same plate for all food is free.
When doing is out of desire, and done with joyfully.

I wait for the morning when money is no more
When there's no rich, and there is no poor.
I wait for the morning that I keep dreaming of...
I wait for the morning of unending love...
