Goodbye Friend Poem by Jordan McIver

Goodbye Friend

It's funny I can write all the right words out
But can't utter one out of my mouth
Still there is just way too much to say
I could brag on you all day
Through the night
And to the next day
I could say you're the greatest
A million times and one
And wouldn't be halfway done
You are the best
To magnificent
To be compared to the rest
Ten of the worst seconds with you
Are better than
The 10 great weeks without you
I wish we could hang out forever
Till the suns not bright
Till the winter has short a night
Till the car stops running
Till fire stops burning
Till grass isn't green
Till pinesol isn't clean
Till ice isn't frigid
Till steel isn't rigid
Till the clock stops ticking
Till the French stop kissing
Till thunder is without lightning
Till I just lie on the floor
Because I don't want to write more
