Goodbye New Freedom, Pa Poem by Justin Gildow

Goodbye New Freedom, Pa

Goodbye New Freedom, PA
Farewell to the generations I once knew
And the years that have flown by
I've been here long enough

In some ways
Of my generation
I feel like I'm the last one standing

I won't wait anymore
For what will perhaps one day come

The water tower is still standing
All these years later
Oh how I remember

Goodbye New Freedom, PA
Maybe someday I'll see you again
However
Hopefully it won't be any time soon
Not for a long time yet to come
