Goodies Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Goodies

So you telling me you love me just to hit and run
I'm thinking that this could be a little fun
play on the attention that have your mind
Then leave you with feeling high and dry

I like to hear them talk their ish
Make them think they getting this
The challenge I simply can't resist

Two can play that game
And one will wind up hurt
I campaigned to put out your flame
Just to come out as the first

Like a moth to a flame I watched as you burned
I laugh as you hurt, tonight you have learned

You wouldn't get the goodies
Know you thought it'll be easy
Won't ever taste the cookies
You'll run cross difficulties
