Govern Poem by Kelvin Owusu

Govern

They run
They run out of their legs
Alive but half-dead
Their eyes so cold
Their heart black as coal

Never to rest they feed
On the souls of men
Depriving women of their innocence
Not sparing the children

Preaching equality but
Not living by the same laws
Keeping the poor poor while
Giving the rich more

And they pretend to wonder
Why there is war

It is so true....especially in #Africa. Thank you #Kelvin, for a good piece like this. Kindly check out my poems...I would be delighted.
