Graduate Poem by Sarah Lipka

A girl grows up and graduates from school
Gets away from everything that was cruel
With robe and cap dressed with pride
She feels its her time to shine

She gets on stage, with all eyes on her
She has the brains and all that she learned
Diploma in hand and tears in her eyes
Her loves ones down below, clapping and they cry

She leaves the auditorium with the music playing loud
Diploma in hand and walking so proud
Her family claps with smiles on their face
They are all proud, that the accomplishment she had made

All her loved ones come out with hugs and love
The girl knew that she had won
To the car she went, to party with a smile
So much fun she had for a while

Its her time to shine
Its felt so right
Time to start her life
And its going to start out tonight: -)
