Grand Saint-Valentine's Gala Poem by Hebert Logerie

Grand Saint-Valentine's Gala

Rating: 5.0

For the feast of Saint-Valentine, Mignonne,
You'll be wearing your beautiful pink dress.
At six o'clock sharp, when the bells will toll,
Under the heavyweight of neurosis,
I'll pick you up for the big night.

I'll bring you a bouquet of exotic flowers,
A box of chocolate, and my exalted soul.
You and I will waltz on water like two dolphins.
And we will do pirouettes like the Capuchins,
Where we will enjoy the air of fun and happiness.

After the gala, you'll be polite and satisfied.
You and I will be swept away by the waves
Of love; you and I will be gently soaked
By the breezes of joys and jokes,
Where two inebriated shadows will be unified.
