Grandmas Aren'T Forever Poem by Holly Jamestone

Grandmas Aren'T Forever

Rating: 5.0

Grandmas Aren’t Forever
We’re not sure when they’ll leave
Yes, one day Heaven calls them back
For Angels to receive

When here they love their children
Their Kids’ kids far and wide
They hug, they smile through snail mail cards
With overflowing pride

Grandmas Love So Deeply
And know when to refrain
As kid adults must spread their wings
And even Dance in Rain

But Grandmas Aren’t Forever
Except in spirit one day
They’ll be here in the meantime
And wipe our tears away

Please Hug Your Grandma
Hold Her Close
Write to Her
Talk to Her
Acknowledge Her

And this is why we should love and cherish them while they live. …Nothing like Granny.
