Grandpa Poem by Corvette Nezumi Mikazuki

Grandpa

I’ve been thinking about you
All the times we shared
All the grief we feared
Holidays spent together
Holidays shared together

Through the bad and the good
I always knew you’d come through
All the tricks you’d pull
Through the tiny wool
Be it the money in your shoes,
Or the things that we were going through
I’ll always remember you

Everything we shared
I pray to God in fear,
Hoping you are up there,
Flying with the angels above
Singing the lovely songs
Rest in Peace Grandpa
I’ll always love you
