Grandpa

My dearest loving grandpa
I miss you so much today
My heart is as cold and dreary
As the clouds over head are grey
Why did you have to leave
So early in my life?

You have so many wonderful grandchildren
You never got to see
I wish that you were here right now
But I know this cannot be
I wish that I couls see your face
And hug you oh so tight
I hope to see you in my dreams
When I close my eyes at night
Grandpa I will never forget you
I carry you in my heart
The safest and dearest place i have
Until the day, we are no longer apart...
