Grave Poem by Shania K. Younce

Grave

Those whom dead let they be in peace; let us remember them and so love them same.
Speak of them do not forget them.
Do not cry for their gone; only cry because you knew them.
Upon a grave, so light, so wet pretend they are there.
Then close both eyes and drop a tear then die.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is something I wrote around 7th or 8th grade. I thought I had lost these poems forever, but found them when I was packing up to move. I'm calling it an ode honestly I have no idea what category it falls into. Please comment at will and with honesty!
