Grave Ending Poem by AlissaMarie Unknown

Grave Ending

Crawling amongst the wet slippery
rocks she feels the whole
world coming to its end.

Overlooking the waterfalls
glorious hues the vulture
cowering above swoops
down plucking at her deep wounds.

Pleading to the gods above
her body slips plummeting to
the earth below a splash
grew into a shudder of waves.

Sinking to the depths below
her eyes fixated on the ball
of light simmering just beyond
the surface her soul demands
one last touch from her lovers
strong might.

Laying on the mucky bottom
a boulder upon her chest keeping
her from floating to the top she
rests now in her watery grave
watching and listening to the
destruction of those who still
remain above.
