Great Is God Poem by Leon Jaime Villegas

Great Is God

How great's God
Divine Thoughts
From dust and nothings
World turned wonders
From The Word man became
On His Image made
Into Action realized
Alive example as Verb
As His son gave himself
All love in Him
Eternity contained
When His Love gave
Confusion on land reigned
Grasped not as His Passion
Though a 'Message of Love' permeated His Life
He gave His for redemption
Of inequities and imperfections
In our lifes
For whom a belief of the Son of God
In hearts are born
Eternity will be throne
Life over death conquered
World left in ascension
His immortal soul testimony to
His resurrection
Followed and emulated ought be
His 'Message of Life' sacrament
As fact be given
Fulfilled and paramount
Whilst in absence His Spirit
In us for comfort left inside
Not only but also for inspiration
Unannounced, unrecognized
In Him it's reafirmed
Utter in compassion brimmed
Not faltered in convictions
In our hearts within
As manifestation of His Glory
Activated in the end
Christic Consciousness
In our heart is nestled
His creation we're none'less
Hearts purified rest
Divine reflects
In this paradise
Unworn waits for
Reunion with the Lord
in sight impends
All inner illumination
Out radiates
Bright and magnificent!
