Great Pretender Poem by Karen May Mamaril

Great Pretender

I always smile infront of the crowd
I always laugh and shout so loud
I always stand proud in every problem
Fighting and winning all of them

Everybody thought that I'm so strong
That for me nothing's going wrong
They never see the girl inside me
A girl so weak and very lonely

Because I am a great pretender
I don't like anyone to see me sober
I laugh and gay like clown
W/o anyone knowing, that I'm so down
