Greed Poem by Dave Alan Walker

Greed

Rating: 5.0

Evil spews
like a waterfall of hate
money and greed
is what starts it

People looking for things
that are not even there
they think the grass is greener
over there

Then it's too late
when they realise
it is bare

A human failing thinking the grass is greener on the other side, many of us have it, well said.

not only Good rhythm in this poem, but also the meaning. If the currencies of the developed nation are devalued, no one go there looking for green pasture. Nice poem, Dave.

Short but true, Money makes the world go round they say, they don't say it destroys and kills the World also. Good poetry.

Powerful Mr Walker, a pure materialist life driven by the excess desire for goods without the relative evaluation of the importance to the individuals bearing is meaningless, wonderfully said so on the last line.
