Green Eyed Monster Poem by Ali Bear

Green Eyed Monster

Rating: 5.0

I wasn't your first, and you wasn't mine
The exchange of three words, sealed with a kiss
But we only met a couple months back
And it's now I start to discover your past

You dreamt of happiness with someone else
Pictured her in a white dress, lacy veil
And stretch marks that covered her entire belly
But things all came crashing down

We're happy, nothing can change that
But when I'm alone and you're not near
My thoughts escalate, turn into tears
I become a green eyed monster

The more I know, the more it hurts
But I want to know everything,
Let time heal my wounds and
Cure me, for I am a green eyed monster.

tenebrously lovely phrase that: green-eyed-monster. its has a dark rich meaning to it. the poem spins around it well; curls infact, hotly.

No criticism Jealousy is a powerful emotion can lead to bad things if not handled right Good use of character as green eyed monster if that points towards you very clever. Good work hope to read more of your work.
