We greet thee great king
For living in your magnificent palace
While we sleep in the streets
As we await your new housing scheme

We greet thee great savior
For eating our wealth
While our children are dying in hunger
And yours are living in luxury

We greet thee great messiah
for promising us heaven on earth
Though we are living in hell
We still bring greetings to thee

We greet thee great ruler
With our faces filled with unwept tears
Covered by forced smiles
That hides the curses we lay on you.
