Grey Skies Poem by Holly M. Doyon

Grey Skies

Looking at grey skies
As darkness filled her blue eyes
She watched the world fade away
Not seeing another day of yellow
Grasping her dark soul
All she could do is cry
Listening to her thoughts
And shaking the hand of doubt
She created her fate
With no escape
She closed her eyes as the reaper came
Knowing she brought her family to shame
She held onto the soul stealers staff
And started to fade
Not seeing another day
