Grimsby Church 1984 Poem by Tilly BoescheZacharow

Grimsby Church 1984

To have a prayer
I went into the church
and shut the door
behind me
carefully.
Inside there was
darkness and silence
without trace of GOD and heaven.
O GOD, where are you?

I escaped, flung open the door
and -
was standing in the middle
of the sun-shine.

Suddenly there was GOD.
It was good,
and I could have my prayer.
