Growth Poem by Cain XXX

from darkness to day, a light grows
the first morning ray is a golden glow
yet from which was formed
all things must to it's eventual decompose
so from and to black
gold makes its gradual growth.
as day to night
and flowers back to the earth
likewise does Youth and Beauty
to Nothingness swiftly return.
all things fresh and bright born
will grow, dull
and finally one day fade
that its cycle might end
so another may begin.
