Guardian Angel Poem by Far Lapenna

Guardian Angel

Golden hair and lips smiling
Eyes gentle and full of blessing
Deep sea blue,
As complicated as the waves
I from the danger he saves
Wings aglow feathery white
Spread out in magnificent steady flight
Pale white hands yet fingertips
Riddled with warmth
He is my guardian
How his arms cradle me
Turning me forever,
His strong embrace
Protecting me
From outsiders wrath
Softening the blow
He is always there
My heart grows tender
Under his nurturing care
His murmuring voice
Drowns out all others
Pulling me deep under
My sea of problems

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
