Guardian Angels Blunder Poem by Michelle Dickson

Guardian Angels Blunder

Are you like me? I ask
You say Yes i am.
Are you a lonely person? I ask
You say Yes i am.
Are you as lonely as I am? I ask
You say Yes i am.
Have you been overlooked too? I ask
You say Yes i have.
Have you been alone most of your life? I ask
You say Yes i have.
Then are you my guardian angel? I ask
You say Not anymore.
WHY? I ask
You say For I have sinned upon you and for that I must live the life of a FALLEN ANGEL.
Because of my failure to protect you
against that which i must
I have sinned upon you
and must take my punishment as thus.
Because of my blunder you have lived a life of solitude.
Because of my blunder you thought yourself alone.
But there is one thing from my blunder that i do not wish to take away
the one thing that has made you strong
the one thing that has made you who you are
Is your LONLINESS.
Use this emotion as an anchor to push yourself further
tell yourself i do not wish to live like this anymore
and take a stand against your lonliness
and find someone just like you
who has been through the same things as you
and help them through it
So in the end you can save each other from the Hell called LONLINESS.
